Yue Guang Bai — 'Moonlight White' — is a Yunnan specialty made from wild arbor tree leaf and processed with minimal intervention: sun-withered only, with no rolling or pan-firing. The result is a leaf with a distinctive dark-and-silver two-tone appearance and a naturally sweet, low-caffeine profile popular with specialty retailers.
Light and delicate with notes of white flowers, melon and a faint honey sweetness; smooth and low in bitterness, closer to white tea than green in character despite its Pu-erh region origin.
Recommended: 3g leaf per 150ml water, steeped at 85–90°C for 2–3 minutes; also suitable for cold-brewing overnight for a naturally sweet iced tea.
Each production batch is tested for pesticide residue against EU maximum residue limits and US FDA thresholds, with lab certificates and phytosanitary documentation available on request ahead of shipment.
